M.A.D.E. AWARDS: DETECTOR OF INNOVATIONS AND TRENDS

What are the M.A.D.E. Awards?

These yearly awards highlight the innovative know-how of exhibitors, in line with the expectations of consumers and the requirements of the various distribution networks. They winners will be announced at the exhibition on Tuesday, the 20th of March, after a first round of selections and a final decision by a panel of professionals according to six main criteria:

  • Innovation in the recipe/formula/ingredients
  • Innovation in the technology/process
  • Innovation in the packaging
  • Breakthrough innovation: something that does not yet exist (like this year’s solid perfume)
  • Innovation in the marketing/positioning/story-telling
  • Open innovation / Co-creation

This year:

- 71 exhibitors participate

- 142 listed innovations

What is the Excellence Award?

The Excellence Award is the ultimate prize and identifies the best innovation among the winners. In 2017, the M.A.D.E. Excellence Award went to Salaisons Dijonnaises (Lien vers fiche exposant) for its pure Charolais beef chorizo.
