Successful companies are those that know how to take risks, innovate, and evolve to respond to the trends and needs that emerge over time.

Naturally, the exhibition dedicated to those companies has a role to play. Over the course of its 15 years of existence, it has become a key event for all distribution channels, and of course, it also accompanies the evolution of its market.
Last year, the team that ensured the success of MDD Expo capitalized on its expertise to lay the foundations for a new event: M.A.D.E. offers brands the opportunity to work with distributors to design innovative and trendy products. The change of name marks the event’s repositioning in the Premium sector. This was a move upwards, as well as an opening to all distribution circuits. The change was welcomed by buyers, as well as by all representatives of the R&D, marketing, quality, and innovation departments who discovered the new exhibition in 2017.

"Adaptation is a fundamental value. Adapting to consumers, as
well as to distribution networks, is the objective we share with
our exhibitors”

But M.A.D.E. is also the exhibition for co-design and co-creation. By focusing all events on innovation, the exhibition’s goal in 2017 was to challenge professionals, arouse their curiosity, boost their creativity ... and generate business. The initiative’s success is due to the professionals who work in this vital sector.

We feel the weight of this responsibility as we plan the next edition of M.A.D.E. I can assure you that we will continue to humbly work to grow this exhibition and systematically look for any improvements that can be made. 2018 is an opportunity to consolidate successes, tweak a few formats, and develop new projects and services, to make it easier for all exhibitors and visitors to learn about the products of tomorrow.

Finally, I need to thank all our partners who supported us in this (r)evolution by sharing their vital expertise and advice and sharing in our collaborative approach. And of course, we’re very grateful to all the exhibitors, old and new, who trusted us, as well as to the distribution channels that attended.

Let me say to all, including those who have not yet experienced this new format, that we look forward to welcoming you to M.A.D.E. 2018, which will be held on the 20th and 21st of March, 2018, in Porte de Versailles, Paris Expo, Hall 7.1.

Sébastien Gillet, Event director at M.A.D.E.
